Job summary

Isio’s Actuarial & Consulting team is seeking qualified pensions actuaries to advise trustees and sponsors across UK DB schemes. You’ll lead projects, build direct client relationships, and help develop new business while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Great communication: explain complex problems clearly to all stakeholders.
• Strong project management and client delivery skills across multiple projects.
• Willingness to lead, delegate and develop junior colleagues.
• Commercial mindset and ability to spot new opportunities for the business.
• Technical experience in UK DB pensions or transferable skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver UK DB Pensions advice and manage client projects.
• Build relationships with clients and work with partners/directors.
• Assist in new business development with existing and new clients.
• As a Manager, lead and delegate to junior colleagues on projects.
• Perform actuarial valuations and advise on scheme operations.
• Develop pension strategies for diverse organisations.
• Write and deliver communications projects for members.
• Provide advisory input on transactions and scheme consolidations.
• Lead data projects such as GMP equalisation and pensions dashboards.
