Role: Implementation Consultant (Configuration) - Level 2
Reports to: Implementation Manager
Primary purpose of the role: To ensure all aspects of a transition and change project are delivered on time and to a high standard within a controlled project environment.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and interpret client requirements and processes, and translate these into system solutions
- Manage system configuration activities and quality
- Deliver calculation automation
- Risk and issue identification and mitigation
- Lead client implementation projects
- Facilitate internal and external system training, and provide appropriate documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve client queries and issues
- Support Project Managers and Implementation Consultants through the efficient delivery of project tasks
- Mentor and coach Implementation Analysts
- Promote best practice across the team and provide a platform for continuous improvement
- Ensure Evolve procedures are followed and documents produced for applicable project and quality gates
Key tasks
- Meet with clients during the implementation cycle to understand their requirements, data, processes and systems, and make recommendations on how to implement our product(s)/service(s)
- Undertake system demonstrations when required to existing clients
- Identify, collate and document scheme/product information
- Review existing business processes and establish new operating procedures where required
- Conduct system configuration and testing quality control activitiesSupport the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in analysis and design, and specification production for new and/or enhanced developments
- Undertake system configuration and checking
- Undertake data analysis activities and checking
- Undertake project management activities including risk and issue identification and mitigation
