Ackerman Pierce is recruiting an experienced Employer Funding & Risk Lead to support Wiltshire Council and the Wiltshire Pension Fund. You will identify, monitor and manage employer financial risks across more than 170 participating employers, with annual contributions around £125 million, reporting to the Head of Wiltshire Pension Fund.

Qualifications

• Experience in pension fund administration or public sector finance.
• Strong knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
• Understanding of employer contribution arrangements and financial liabilities.

Responsabilités

• Identify, monitor and manage employer financial risks across participating employers.
• Oversee and monitor employer contributions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assess and respond to emerging solvency concerns and funding risks.
• Support the development and governance of employer funding arrangements.
• Coordinate admissions, changes in participation and employer exits.
• Advise on pension funding responsibilities and financial implications.
