Job summary

A-LIGN in Greater London is looking for a skilled Penetration Tester to execute high-quality security assessments for diverse clients. You will perform various penetration tests and guarantee the ongoing protection of clients' critical systems and data. A qualification in cybersecurity and at least 2 years of experience in penetration testing are essential. The role offers a competitive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience performing network and application penetration tests.
• OSCP certification and additional relevant pen test certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal, external, wireless, and web application penetration tests.
• Compile and write client reports.
• Navigate the Kali system from the command line only.
• Create and write Bash scripts from the command line.

Skills

Familiarity with a text editor, Nano, Vi, etc

Knowledge of nMap tool and flag options

Solid knowledge of networking, creating SSH tunnels

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work individually as well as collaboratively

High degree of motivation

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, management information systems, computer science, or relevant discipline
