Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' commercial experience in Penetration Testing or technical Cyber Security Consulting.
• Hands-on experience conducting penetration tests and security assessments.
• Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques and testing methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of networking, protocols, operating systems and security technologies.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux/Unix environments.
• Scripting or programming experience to support testing, analysis or automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex security issues.
• Experience communicating findings to clients with varying technical backgrounds.
• Ability to obtain SC or DV Security Clearance, if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across client environments and technologies.
• Participate in red-team engagements and other offensive security assessments.
• Identify, exploit (where authorised), validate and document vulnerabilities.
• Analyse findings for severity and business impact.
• Produce high-quality penetration testing reports with remediation recommendations.
• Present findings to clients and translate technical issues into business risk.
• Collaborate with clients to understand infrastructure and assessment requirements.
• Provide practical guidance on remediation and security improvements.
• Collaborate with other testers and consultants to share knowledge and develop testing methodologies.
• Stay up to date with emerging threats and tools.
