Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking an internal Penetration Tester to work on WebApp, Infrastructure (internal and external), and Cloud testing. You will carry out annual perimeter tests, engage in project work, and perform peer reviews of reports.

You will communicate findings to senior stakeholders in the business and work three days a week from the office. The role expects hands-on pen testing experience with WebApp, Cloud and Infra, with OSCP/CREST/SANS certifications being a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Previous work in consultancy or internal security teams acceptable.

Job description

Financial services firm seeks an internal Penetration Tester to work on WebApp, Infrastructure – internal and external, and Cloud testing. Testing will cover annual perimeter tests and project work. You will undertake peer reviews of reports, and will communicate findings to senior stakeholders in the business.

The successful candidate will have work experience as a penetration tester with WebApp, Cloud and Infra skills. You may be certified in OSCP, CREST or SANS (although certifications are not a prerequisite) and will have good verbal and written communication skills. You may have experience from either a consultancy or an internal team, there is no preference.

The role is based 3 days a week in the office. If you live in Surrey, West/East Sussex, Hampshire, Croydon, Brighton, Portsmouth or West Kent, you will be within a commutable distance of their office. There is parking available, and the office is just a 5-minute walk from the station with regular direct trains from London Bridge, Victoria and Blackfriars. Base salary up to £60,000 + benefits + bonus.
