Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a fixed-term or part-time Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to work across Poole and Christchurch with support for Perinatal clinics at Royal Bournemouth. The role involves face-to-face clinics, triage, follow-up, and group education sessions within MDT settings.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
• Experience applying clinical reasoning to a range of pelvic health cases.
• MSK experience with understanding of onward MSK care.
• Working knowledge of Badgernet or similar Maternity systems.
• Experience collaborating with consultants, midwives and other medical practitioners within MDTs.
• Experience leading patient groups in person and virtually.
• Empathy and kindness.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, specialist care to perinatal, urogynecology, male and colorectal patients.
• Mentor Band 5 staff and students and support the wider Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team.
• Promote and deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Work within national and local guidelines, including off-site clinics.
