A leading educational institution in Birmingham seeks a candidate to build relationships with program participants and empower them towards health advocacy post-trauma. This role requires a high school diploma and two years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, with additional preferred experience relating to disabilities from traumatic injuries. Competitive hourly pay and full-time days are offered.
$17.55 - $28.50 / hour

To build relationships with program participants for the purpose of connecting them to resources and community partners. To empower the participants to advocate for whole health and to make valuable connections as they discover a new way of living after a traumatic injury.
High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years experience in customer service preferably in a healthcare setting required. Experience may include serving in a volunteer capacity in an organization that supports healthcare or wellness initiatives such as mentoring individuals or providing assistance in public-facing roles. Experience with acquired disabilities related to traumatic brain injury spinal cord injury or stroke preferred. This experience may include personal living experience vocational or family caregiver.
