Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join the Chilworth House Upper School team in Wheatley, near Oxford, on a maternity cover until October 2027. You will deliver therapeutic interventions for young people with complex needs within living and learning environments, collaborating with educational and residential staff.

The role requires HCPC registration, strong organisational skills, and the ability to lead and train others.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC.
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
• Ability to support teams around a child to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
• Highly organised and proactive with strong initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
• Offer individualised interventions based on clinical assessment.
• Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to teams.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team.
