Job summary

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking two Peat Project Officers to join the Restoration Team. You will lead on surveying damaged peatlands, preparing restoration plans and maps, managing contractors, monitoring restoration, and liaising with stakeholders.

This role blends outdoor peatland work with mapping and report writing. GIS experience, IT proficiency and clear communication are essential. A full driving licence is required for travel to remote sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in land management is essential.

• Line management experience is desirable.
