Qualifications

Overview

Salary: £27,456 - £43,014 per annum. Contract: Full Time (40 hours per week). Ofsted: Good. Type: SEMH Specialist School. Leader Group is recruiting on behalf of this client, an independent SEMH specialist school in Scunthorpe rated Good by Ofsted. The school provides a nurturing environment for students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, often supported by EHCPs.

About the Role

We\'re seeking a passionate PE Teacher who can inspire and motivate students through sport and physical activity. You\'ll deliver engaging lessons that build teamwork, confidence, and resilience in young people who have experienced barriers in mainstream education.

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Encourage participation and enjoyment in a range of sports

Requirements
  • Experience working with SEND or SEMH students (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • QTS/QTLS desirable but not essential
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and positive behaviour support
  • Resilient, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
