PE Teacher Required - Liverpool

Salary/Rate: £160 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: January

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a PE Teacher to work at a vibrant and friendly Secondary School in Livrepool. This exciting role is due to start in January and can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on availability. The school is welcoming applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers, providing the ideal candidate can implement strong behaviour management strategies and follow school policies effectively.

We are seeking a passionate PE Teacher who can support PE sessions across KS3 and KS4, delivering outstanding lessons that promote physical development, teamwork, and positive attitudes to health and fitness.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher include:

• Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Organising and overseeing extra-curricular sports clubs, activities, and events
• Promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging student participation in physical activity
• Managing classroom and sports hall behaviour in line with school policies
• Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on students' progress and development
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and contribute to whole-school initiatives

To be considered for this PE Teacher role, you must:

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or BA Hons with QTS)
• Be eligible to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience working with children
• Have recent experience teaching PE in a school settingProvide two professional references covering the last two years, ideally involving work with children
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
