Overview

• Role: PE Teacher / Cover Supervisor - Cambridgeshire
• Location: Cambridgeshire (including Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots, and surrounding areas)
• Salary: 130-230 per day (depending on role and experience)
• Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Long-term roles
• Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 if applicable)
• Encourage participation in physical activity, teamwork, and healthy competition
• Organise and support extra-curricular sports activities and school teams
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils
• Step in to cover lessons when required, ensuring continuity and engagement

What you will need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting
• Specialism in PE or a strong sporting background
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Aspire People)
• A passion for physical education and student development
