Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in a secondary school setting.
• Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4.
• The ability to adapt and deliver lessons across a variety of subjects when providing cover.

PE Teacher / General Cover

Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Staffordshire to recruit a PE Teacher / General Cover Supervisor. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is advantageous)
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Promote teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles
• Provide general classroom cover across a range of subjects when required
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
• Uphold all safeguarding and school policies consistently
