The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join the school on a long‑term cover basis. The role will primarily involve teaching PE across KS3 and KS4, with some general cover responsibilities as required. The successful candidate will help foster a love of physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and support students in building confidence and skills in sport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire and motivate students to participate and develop in a variety of physical activities.
  • Provide constructive feedback and assess student performance regularly.
  • Maintain an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to general cover duties and support whole‑school initiatives as needed.
  • Support extracurricular activities to enhance the school's wider PE and sports provision.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary school level (KS3/KS4).
