Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting for experienced qualified PE teachers and Early Career Teachers to work on a temporary day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis in the Exeter area. We partner with many secondary schools and offer guidance, support, and a choice of roles to match availability and career goals.

The successful candidate will have QTS with PE, KS4 experience, and excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• QTS with PE specialization and qualified PE status.
• Experience delivering PE lessons up to KS4 is required or highly desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PE lessons to students across secondary key stages.
• Assist with assessment, feedback and reporting on student progress.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment during PE sessions.

Job Title: PE Teacher

Salary: £155 - £232.58 per day

I have partnered with many secondary schools across the Exeter area, meaning my need qualified PE Teachers and good quality staff is at an all-time high. Our long-standing relationships with schools mean that we can find you the position that s right for you, giving you guidance and advice along the way. I also recruit for long term and permanent roles!

The successful qualified PE will have:

• QTS with PE specialism (ECT s are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching PE up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
