Are you an enthusiastic PE teacher who is looking for a new teaching role?

Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with a school in South Gloucester who are looking to employ a PE teacher to help cover a maternity leave from January 2026 until January 2027. The job will involve teaching classes from Years 7 to years 10, with an FTE of 0.6 and will be paid to scale.

The successful candidate will have values that align with the school, be a positive role model to the pupils and bring a new and exciting energy to PE.

The successful applicant:
  • Have Qualified Teachers Status
  • Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education
  • Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills
  • Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
