PE Teacher - Secondary School - Southampton

Location: Southampton
Start Date: November 2025
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term / Short-term / Ad-Hoc Supply
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

TimePlan Education is seeking passionate and dedicated PE Teachers to work across busy and thriving secondary schools in the Southampton area starting in November 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified PE teachers to make a real impact on student progress within supportive and dynamic school environments, and experience local secondary school cultures.

The Role
  • Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
  • Participating in departmental planning, assessments, and school-wide initiatives when required
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Committed to fostering a positive learning environment
  • Ability to work across various school settings
  • Available from November 2025
