Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4

Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages participation in physical activities

Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive sporting attitudes

Organise extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and events

Track student progress and provide constructive feedback

Work closely with colleagues to develop a strong PE curriculum

Uphold high standards of behaviour and discipline in all lessons

Requirements for a PE Teacher:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools

Strong knowledge of the national PE curriculum

A genuine passion for physical education and student wellbeing

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Ability to inspire and motivate girls of all abilities to engage in sport and fitness

Availability to work 2 days per week from September 2025
