The Role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher to join their team full-time from 3rd November 2025. This is a full-time, long-term supply role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence both in lessons and through extracurricular sport.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that promotes participation and progress.
  • Encourage students to achieve their best both in practical and theoretical aspects of PE.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, sports clubs, and school competitions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student wellbeing.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
