If so, GSL Education are seeking a committed PE Support professional to join a school in Wakefield, offering a daily rate of £95 to £120, dependent on experience. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support PE lessons and help foster a love of sport among young learners.

Role Overview:

You will assist PE teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive physical education sessions, helping pupils to improve fitness, coordination, and teamwork. Your role will contribute to creating a positive, safe, and active learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of PE lessons and activities under teacher guidance.
• Motivate and assist pupils in developing their physical skills and confidence.
• Encourage positive behaviour and participation during sessions.
• Prepare sports equipment and maintain a safe space for physical activities.
• Assist with organising sports events and extracurricular clubs.
• Promote health, safety, and inclusion in all activities.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting PE or sports activities with children or young people.
• Knowledge of physical education practices and sporting games.
• Ability to engage and encourage pupils of all abilities.
• Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.
• Enthusiasm for sport and pupil development.
• Relevant qualifications in sport or PE support are desirable.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
