Job summary

The Education Alliance is seeking a Head of PE, Sport & Outdoor Learning for The Hub School and other TEAL sites. The role is based across multiple schools within the trust, with a focus on leading the PE department and shaping curriculum strategy.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, contribute to teaching and learning best practices, and engage in robust curriculum evaluation and development. Closing date 14 October 2026; interviews anticipated 22 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status and have knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of effective teaching and learning, monitoring/assessment and evaluation.
• Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development and assessment in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead PE, Sport & Outdoor Learning across the trust schools.
• Oversee curriculum design, implementation and impact for the PE department.
• Support teaching staff and contribute to school-wide teaching and learning strategies.
