Overview

Simply Education are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity, health, and well being. You will plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote teamwork, discipline, and personal excellence across all ability levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards.
• Foster an inclusive and motivating environment that encourages participation and improvement.
• Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and competitions.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and well being within the wider school community.
• Contribute to the development of the school\'s PE and sports programme.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching PE across relevant key stages.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and motivational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Desirable Skills

• Experience coaching school sports teams or leading extracurricular activities.
• Knowledge of first aid or relevant coaching qualifications.
• Ability to teach a second subject (advantageous but not essential).
