Job summary

Kedleston Group Limited, Ansley-based Arc School Ansley, is seeking a passionate PE and Outdoor Education Teacher to inspire students across KS3 and KS4. You will lead engaging lessons, assess progress and support pupils including those with SEND, ASC and safeguarding needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4.
• Experience working with SEND and ASC.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver engaging PE and Outdoor Education lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress using data and feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment promoting high standards of behaviour, wellbeing and personal development.
• Support pupils with SEND and safeguarding needs, working with the SENCo, DSL and wider team.
• Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities, visits, parents' evenings and school improvement initiatives.
