Job summary

Streamline Search Limited is seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join our automotive team in Dover. You will perform pre-delivery inspections, carry out vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure safety and quality before delivery to customers.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, experience with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Salary is £35,000-£45,000 per year, with Monday to Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience as a PDI Technician or similar mechanical role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Proficient with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality.
• Works well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-delivery inspections to meet standards.
• Identify, diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Use diagnostic equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure work complies with manufacturer specs and safety rules.
• Keep a clean, organized, safe workspace.
• Report faults or additional work required to management.
