Job summary

A recruitment consultancy is seeking a qualified PDI Technician to join a busy main dealership in Nottingham. This permanent, full-time role offers a basic salary of £29,000 with an achievable OTE up to £44,600. Responsibilities include completing pre-delivery inspections, servicing, and ensuring high-quality standards. Candidates should have a Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification, dealership experience is preferred. A stable work environment with no weekend hours and training opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 qualified, Level 3 advantageous.
  • Experience in a dealership or workshop environment preferred.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles.
  • Carrying out basic servicing, inspections, and rectification work.
  • Ensuring vehicles are prepared to manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Identifying and reporting any faults or issues prior to handover.
  • Accurately completing job cards and inspection documentation.
  • Working efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets.
