Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance checks on MEWPs before dispatch.
• Inspect for faults or damage and complete necessary documentation.
• Ensure machines are cleaned and prepped for dispatch.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established access equipment provider in their search for a PDI Technician to work in Oswestry

Job Details:

• Competitive Salary
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm

Job Role:

The PDI Technician will be responsible for performing quality assurance and safety checks on completed MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) before they are shipped to customers and Skyjack sites across Europe. The role involves inspecting for faults or damage, completing necessary documentation, cleaning and prepping machines, and ensuring they are ready for dispatch. You'll carry out full function tests, touch up any paint imperfections, and support your colleagues to meet tight deadlines and high-quality standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Good standard of numeracy and literacy
• NVQ Level 2/3 in motor mechanics or similar
• IPAF 3a and 3b, LOLER, FLT certification, or other access industry qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude
