You will perform pre-delivery inspections on powered access machinery, identify defects, repair as needed, and complete documentation. The role offers Monday to Friday, a 45-hour week, a competitive £30,000-£33,000 salary, and a company pension with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a PDI, workshop or mechanical role (powered access, plant or material handling).
• Good mechanical and hydraulic understanding with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team and maintain quality standards.
• NVQ or equivalent in mechanical discipline is desirable.
• Driving licence in the UK is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on powered access machinery.
• Inspect, test and prepare equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Identify defects and carry out repairs or report issues.
• Complete documentation accurately in line with procedures.
• Ensure machines are clean, safe and ready for immediate use.
• Support workshop engineers as required.
