Job summary

APCOA PARKING UK is seeking qualified PCV drivers to operate at London Luton Airport. The role includes a 6 days on, 3 days off pattern with 2 early, 2 middle, and 2 night shifts, covering bank holidays and weekends. Salary is £35,719.07 per annum and full uniform is provided.

You must hold a PCV Cat D licence with no more than 3 points and a current CPC card. The candidate will drive the Citaro Citybus fleet around the Airport Car Park and be the face of the business, delivering high standards

Qualifications

• Essential requirements: PCV licence with Cat D and up-to-date CPC card.
• Ability to work rolling shift patterns including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Company’s vehicles in a safe, legal and professional way.
• Complete safety walk-around checks before service and report defects.
• Provide customers with information and assist with their needs during journeys.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Assist with the needs of children and vulnerable adults as required.

You are required to have a PCV licence with Cat D with no more than 3 points and an up-to-date CPC card. We also offer training for CPC courses.

The role is to drive one of our courtesy services Citaro Citybus fleet around the designated Airport Car Park.

Your main duties include:

• Driving the Company’s vehicles in a safe, legal and professional way.
• Carrying out the safety walk round checks before commencing service. Ensuring that any defect in the vehicle or equipment is reported on our defect app. Always provide a high standard of customer service.
• Giving customers on the bus any information that may help them during their journey.
• Always behaving in a friendly and professional way to customers and colleagues.
• Recognising and assisting with the additional needs of children and vulnerable adults, the elderly, infirm or people with disabilities.

Essential Requirements for the role:

• Category D driving licence.
• Up to date CPC qualification card.
• The ability to work shifts on a rolling shift pattern including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
