Job summary

Sherwood Travel is seeking an experienced PCV coach driver in Immingham to join the team. The role includes student college runs and general private hires, with a weekend rota and bonus potential.

The candidate should have a clean D licence with at least two years of experience, accept up to 3 points, and hold current DCPC and Digi card. Excellent road craft and knowledge of local counties and roads are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have clean D licence with at least 2 years experience; 3 points accepted, current DCPC & Digi card.

Responsibilities

• Drive PCV coach for student college runs and private hires.
• Perform daily safety checks and walk-round checks at each shift.
• Report faults and communicate with passengers clearly.
• Adhere to EU driving rules, rest breaks and legal requirements.

Job description

We require an experience PCV coach driver to join our team, must have clean D licence min 2 years, accept 3 points, current DCPC & Digi card, must be good timekeeper & reliable, position will include student college runs & general private hires. Weekend rota with bonus. successful candidate will be responsible to be well represented & look after his daily charge. A good knowledge of counties road & the Highway Code would be an advantage. Wages above minimum wage, but decided by experience & contract type eg: schools, private hire, rail replacement etc

excellent road craft skills, knowledge of local roads and adjacent motorway network current digi card, current drivers CPC. Safely operate within the drivers EU rules & regulations, taking essential breaks & rest periods as required. daily safety checks & recorded, inc a walk round check on each shift. report faults, Good people skills & communicate any information to your passengers.
