Job summary

First Bus in Blantyre is seeking experienced Bus Drivers to operate local services, ensuring safety and punctuality while helping customers travel confidently. You’ll join a supportive depot with guaranteed contracted hours and a predictable weekly schedule.

You will work rotating shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends, with a £16.03 per hour rate and a £1,500 joining bonus (terms apply). This is a full-time, permanent role with overtime opportunities when available.

Qualifications

• PCV licence required.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Flexible and reliable approach to shift work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate local bus services, ensuring safety, reliability and punctuality for passengers.
• Represent First Bus in the community and deliver excellent customer service to every passenger.
• Rotas are planned in advance with rotating mornings, evenings and weekends.
