We have a vacancy for an innovative ARRS PCN GP role within Seisdon Primary Care Network. The post is 5 clinical sessions and 1 CPD, to develop a specialist interest. There is the opportunity to be involved in ongoing MDT frailty and heart failure pilots.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are traditional practices that collaboratively work as a cohesive and well-developed PCN team. You will be hosted within a supportive environment at two of our PCN practices, located in Wombourne, Claverley, Perton, Bilbrook, Codsall or Featherstone.
We are in South Staffordshire, geographically adjacent to the Wolverhampton/Dudley conurbations,
and to minimise travel the location can be agreed with the successful candidate.
We have a well-established ARRS team, clinical and non- clinical, working in a MDT approach. You will be part of that team but there is no expectation to offer supervision.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Working Relationships
GP, nurses and PCN and other practice staff
Locality managers
Community nurses and other allied health professionals
Community pharmacists.
Health and Safety
Seisdon PCN expects all staff to have a commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy environment and be responsible for their own and others welfare.
No Smoking Policy
Seisdon PCN is a no smoking organisation therefore staff are not permitted to smoke whilst on duty.
Other Duties
There may be a requirement to undertake other duties as may reasonably be required to support Seisdon PCN. These may be based at other Seisdon PCN Practices.

Respect for Patient Confidentiality
The post-holder should respect patient confidentiality at all times and not divulge patient information unless sanctioned by the requirements of the role.
Special Working Conditions
The post-holder is required to travel independently between practice sites (where applicable), and to attend meetings hosted by other agencies.
The post-holder may have contact with body fluids while in clinical practice.
Job Description Agreement
This job description is intended to provide an outline of the key tasks and responsibilities only. There may be other duties required of the post-holder commensurate with the position. This description will be open to regular review and may be amended to take into account development within the PCN practices. All members of staff should be prepared to take on additional duties or relinquish existing duties to maintain the efficient running of the PCN practices.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£9,650 a session 6 sessions, 5 clinical, 1 CPD (25hr per week)
