Job summary

A progressive recruitment agency is looking for an experienced PCB Technician in Ferndown. The role offers a 4-day work week, where you will be responsible for a range of PCB assembly tasks, prototype building, and product quality inspections. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of electronics manufacturing experience and relevant IPC certifications. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a wide range of PCB assembly tasks to meet standards.
  • Perform rework and modifications on assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Completing a wide range of PCB assembly tasks to meet quality and delivery standards
  • Performing rework and modifications on conventional assemblies
  • Building prototypes and providing detailed feedback to improve work instructions
  • Inspecting and verifying product quality to IPC standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in electronics manufacturing (minimum 3 years)
  • Skilled in rework and modifications, ideally with IPC 7711/7721, IPC-A-610, and IPC J‑STD‑001 certifications (expired certs still valued)
  • Ability to complete prototype builds and provide constructive feedback
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
