Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume payroll environments.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (Cascade, SD Worx, Dayforce, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Processing multiple monthly payrolls for 1,500–5,000 employees.
  • Managing end-to-end payroll reconciliation and month-end reporting.
  • Handling payroll queries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, pensions, and HMRC/TPR requirements.
  • Supporting system upgrades, acquisitions, and data integrations.
  • Maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality across all payroll and HR systems.

We’re on the lookout for a highly organised, detail-driven Payroll Specialist to join our Group Payroll Team within People Operations.

In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll across multiple entities—supporting business growth, acquisitions, and transformation initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Processing multiple monthly payrolls for 1,500–5,000 employees.
  • Managing end-to-end payroll reconciliation and month-end reporting.
  • Handling payroll queries via phone, email, ServiceNow, or in person.
  • Ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, pensions, and HMRC/TPR requirements.
  • Supporting system upgrades, acquisitions, and data integrations.
  • Maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality across all payroll and HR systems.
Who we’re looking for:
