Cornerstone is seeking two experienced Payroll Specialists to join our finance team in Glasgow to deliver an accurate and compliant monthly payroll for approximately 1,800 colleagues.
You will take responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing, act as the payroll contact for managers and stakeholders, and support returns and pensions. This role offers a hybrid working pattern with some travel as needed.

We're looking for two new experienced Payroll Specialists to join our finance team and help deliver an accurate, compliant and person‑centred payroll service for approximately 1,800 colleagues.
Reporting to our Payroll Lead, you'll take responsibility for the end‑to‑end monthly payroll process for allocated services and act as a trusted payroll contact for operational managers and stakeholders.
Deliver end‑to‑end monthly payroll for allocated services, ensuring accurate and timely payments and deductions
Act as a main payroll contact for managers and stakeholders
Check payroll input is complete, accurate, authorised and submitted on time
Resolve payroll queries clearly and elevate more complex issues when required
Support statutory returns, payslips, P45s, P60s, pensions, reconciliations and month‑end activity
Use payroll audit findings to strengthen controls, improve data quality and reduce recurring issues

The successful candidates will be subject to a Level 2 Disclosure check through Disclosure Scotland.
There will be occasional travel across our branches (travel expenses would be reimbursed as set out in Cornerstone's expense policy with travel reimbursed by HMRC legislation).
