Job summary

A global Media business is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 2-month remote contract. Responsibilities include leading payroll processes for the UK, Ireland, and EMEA, maintaining compliance, and overseeing outsourced payroll providers. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of payroll management experience and strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation. This part-time role offers a pay of up to £200 per day, starting ASAP.

Overview

Payroll Specialist – 2 month contract – Remote – Part time – ASAP start – up to £200 per day

Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be partnered with a global Media business, who are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team, on a 2 month interim basis. The Payroll Specialist will be a trusted expert, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across the UK, Ireland and EMEA entities. This is an urgent hire, therefore looking for someone to start ASAP, on a part time, remote basis.

The Payroll Specialist will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

Responsibilities
  • Lead payroll process for all UK, Ireland & EMEA employees, via outsourced providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with HMRC, ROI revenue authorities, and other statutory requirements.
  • Oversee the strategic relationship with outsourced payroll providers, managing SLAs, challenging inefficiencies, and creating new ways of working to overcome any issues.
  • Oversee employee benefits and relations to engagement, performance, and day-to-day HR operations
  • Running various reports at payroll cut off for the processing of starters, leavers and transfers
  • Update and maintain HR Information System when required
Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax codes, NI, and pension administration; familiarity with Ireland payroll regulations desirable.
