A modern HR technology company in the UK is seeking a highly motivated Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for around 400 employees across multiple European entities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on payroll experience, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of local compliance laws. Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing and management.
• Expertise in Excel for data manipulation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities.
• Support international payroll cycles and outsourced payroll operations across the UK and other European sites.
• Collaborate with HR on employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, terminations, and time-off management.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance for approximately 400 employees across multiple sites.
• Maintain compliance with income tax, social security, and local labour laws.
• Execute payroll payments through banking systems.
• Perform payroll accounting entries and participate in month-end closing.
• Drive process improvements and ensure alignment with best practices.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, review, and management of payroll data, ensuring accurate and timely processing across multiple European entities. You will also collaborate closely with HR and Accounting teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and process efficiency.
