Job summary

Portfolio Payroll are partnering with a Blackburn-based accountancy practice to recruit an experienced Payroll Senior. The role offers hybrid working and can be based in Blackburn or Bolton, with flexible hours and a strong benefits package.

You will manage end-to-end client payroll, handle high-volume processing, and support a busy payroll department across multiple deadlines. Study support and referral schemes are included.

Qualifications

• Client payroll experience.
• End to end payroll processing for multiple clients.
• Technical payroll skills and strong Excel capabilities.
• Support a busy payroll department.
• Experience handling high volume, fast-paced payrolls.
• Client payroll experience is advantageous.
• Able to work to multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle client payroll processing end to end.
• Maintain accurate payroll records for clients.
• Work within payroll systems and Excel to deliver timely payslips.
• Support the payroll team with daily tasks and workload.
• Manage workload in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
