Seeking an experienced Payroll Manager on a 12 month fixed term. Interested in joining a leading UK bank as a Payroll Manager , where your sole focus will be driving efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across payroll operations. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of payroll delivery and embed a culture of continuous improvement across a large, complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic process improvement initiatives across UK and Crown Dependency payrolls, identifying and resolving inefficiencies.
  • Analyse payroll data to ensure compliance with regulations, including National Minimum Wage requirements.
  • Partner with Payroll SMEs and Change teams to design and implement sustainable solutions that enhance operational excellence and reduce compliance risks.
  • Optimise system functionality within their payroll system improving workflows and minimising the potential for errors or duplicate payments.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the payroll function.
What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated success leading payroll process improvement projects in a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret payroll data and identify risks.
  • Practical experience working with Workday and ServiceNow systems is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a proven ability to drive change.
  • In-depth understanding of UK payroll legislation, compliance, and policy frameworks.
