Job description

Our client is a growing recruitment business entering an exciting phase as they upgrade their contractor payroll processes, moving from spreadsheets onto Intime.

As part of this transition, they are looking to hire a Contractor Payroll Officer to support the day-to-day payroll operation.

Working closely with an experienced and supportive CFO & Finance Controller, this role offers excellent exposure. The wider team is delivery-focused, making this a great environment for someone who enjoys being hands-on, learning quickly and contributing to operational improvements.

You will support the payroll of approximately 350 contractors, operating across a 60/40 split of umbrella and limited company, ensuring accurate data input, validations and timely processing.

You’ll also assist with Intime usage, help resolve contractor and internal queries, and support reconciliations and reporting as the system becomes fully embedded.

This role would suit someone with exposure to contractor payroll, and used Intime previously, who is keen to develop their technical knowledge and grow with the business.

You’ll join the business during a positive systems transition to Intime, gaining hands-on experience with payroll processes, systems and stakeholders. Working closely with an experienced team, the role offers strong support, real responsibility and clear scope to grow as the contractor population and payroll function scale.
