You’ll oversee payroll operations for 8,000 employees across multiple sites, lead a team of three, and play a key role in driving process improvement and compliance within a supportive, collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll for a large, multi-site workforce
  • Lead and develop a team of 3 payroll professionals
  • Oversee payroll compliance, reporting, and audit processes
  • Partner with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and statutory compliance
  • Support continuous improvement and system enhancement projects
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience managing payroll in a large, multi-site UK organisation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills - personable and proactive
  • Excellent Excel skills and payroll system experience
  • CIPP qualified or equivalent experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
