We’re looking for an experienced and confident Payroll Manager to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Derby. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Running the end-to-end payroll process (weekly and monthly) for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting, guiding, and working closely with a dedicated payroll team.
  • Acting as the go‑to person for payroll queries and advice across the business.
  • Working with SAP to maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
  • Liaising with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Leading on small projects to improve processes and implement updates when needed.
  • Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and making sure everything stays compliant.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a payroll management role
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a regular payroll cycle.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP payroll systems (essential).
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory processes.
  • A friendly, approachable attitude and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
