Join a Belfast-based business as a Payroll Lead with additional Purchase Ledger responsibilities. You'll take full ownership of the weekly payroll cycle and provide hands‑on support across AP and month‑end, with scope to broaden your role over time.

About you
  • Proven end‑to‑end payroll experience (weekly cycles)

  • Purchase Ledger experience with accounting software; comfortable with journal posting and nominal codes

  • Strong Excel skills; high attention to detail; organised, deadline‑driven, and a proactive team player

  • Desirable: Sage Payroll, CIS knowledge, construction sector exposure, NetSuite

  • Pefect for someone who is an Accounts Assistant, Accounting Technician
What you'll do
  • Lead weekly payroll: gather inputs, process in Sage Payroll, post journals, reconcile control accounts, and manage employee payments

  • Support Purchase Ledger: invoice entry/coding, supplier communications, payment runs, and statement reconciliations

  • Month‑end cover: assist with accruals/prepayments, supplier reconciliations, and general finance/admin tasks as required
