Payroll / HR Implementation Consultant

Location: Fully Remote (UK Based)

Role Overview

As an Implementation Consultant, you will lead the successful delivery of payroll and HR system implementations for UK clients across a range of modern HCM platforms.

You’ll collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements, configure systems, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deliver end‑user training – ensuring every project runs smoothly from design to go‑live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops to gather and document business requirements.
• Configure Payroll and/or HR modules to meet client specifications.
• Support UAT and issue resolution, ensuring configurations align with business needs.
• Create and deliver training materials for super‑users and HR/payroll teams.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders throughout each project.
• Stay current with HCM best practices and product developments to continuously enhance service delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience implementing Payroll &/or HR (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, UKG, Dayforce, or similar).
• Strong ability to lead workshops, configure systems, and manage testing/training phases.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and consulting skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver to deadlines.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder‑management and client‑facing experience.
