We provide a dynamic work environment full of opportunity, one where both individual and team initiative and contribution is encouraged, so that together we can deliver better outcomes for our clients over the long term.

The Role

The Payroll Executive will be responsible for managing payroll across the group, including associated entities and upcoming acquisitions. This role plays a pivotal part in harmonising payroll operations to ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy. As the payroll migration lead, the individual will oversee all phases of system transition – from planning through go‑live and post‑implementation review – including ownership of the discovery phase, execution of parallel runs, and assurance of seamless end‑to‑end process alignment.

This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract – 35 hours a week – 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
Payroll Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee data cleansing, mapping and validation of legacy payroll records to ensure accurate migration into the new system.
  • Process monthly payrolls accurately using HiBob for UK entities.
  • Conduct thorough payroll reviews prior to submission, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform monthly payroll account reconciliations and statutory reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, GDPR and internal governance policies.
  • Administer benefit offerings across entities.
HiBob Integration & Process Alignment
  • Own the end‑to‑end payroll migration workstream, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment and system readiness.
  • Lead the discovery phase of payroll integrations between HiBob and the UK payroll module.
  • Collaborate with the HiBob integration team to ensure payrolls are correctly configured, required information is provided and system setup aligns with operational requirements.
  • Conduct parallel payroll runs, reconcile outputs and lead post‑go‑live reviews to ensure system stability and accuracy.
  • Monitor and align process flows between HiBob and payroll systems, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Provide regular updates to the Payroll Manager on integration progress and findings.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve payroll queries and maintain data integrity.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to communicate migration milestones, training needs and process changes.
  • Manage the payroll mailbox and respond to ad‑hoc requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as the primary contact for the payroll vendor.
Reporting & Governance
  • Document migration, HR and training processes, decisions and lessons learned to support future system transitions and audits.
  • Maintain payroll security and confidentiality in accordance with GDPR and Titan’s internal policies.
  • Uphold Titan’s commitment to fairness and transparency, adhering to Consumer Duty principles.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing payroll across multiple entities.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Experience with payroll systems, ideally including HiBob or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end‑to‑end payroll system migrations.
  • Strong understanding of payroll data structures, system workflows and integration testing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage migration timelines, risk mitigation and cross‑functional coordination across departments.
  • Experience supporting change management and training during payroll system transitions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • AAT qualification (UK) or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, efficient and self‑motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver accurate results under pressure.
  • Customer service‑oriented with a proactive and solution‑focused approach.
