Are you detail-driven, confident with Excel, and thrive on getting things just right? An established and growing business in Newmarket is looking for a Payroll Controller to join their Finance team. This well-respected organisation operates within the energy and utilities sector and has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation. They're passionate about empowering their people, supporting professional development, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

You'll play a key role in ensuring payroll and timesheet processes run smoothly and accurately each month. You'll work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations teams, acting as a trusted point of contact for all payroll-related queries.

Day to day
  • Maintain and update payroll and timesheet data with accuracy and precision
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure all pay changes and timesheets are processed correctly and on time
  • Handle payroll queries professionally and efficiently
  • Prepare and check payroll before submission
  • Process expenses and maintain accurate audit trails
  • Stay up to date with PAYE, NI, pension, and P11D legislation
What You'll Bring
