Overview

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our busy team operating on various John Lewis sites and stores across the UK. The role is to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time by processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and managing timekeeping data. The role also requires ensuring compliance with labour laws and serving as a point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries.

The requirement is to work 3 days a week at Milton Keynes Magna Park and Fenny Lock sites, minimum once a month at Coulsdon, store visits may also be needed.

Responsibilities
  • Payroll processing: Calculating and processing employee wages, deductions, and benefits.
  • Data management: Collecting, verifying, and updating employee and timekeeping data for new hires and terminations.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining accurate and complete employee records and tracking leave balances.
  • Reporting: Preparing weekly payroll and timekeeping reports for management and auditors.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all payroll activities comply with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employee support: Answering employee questions and resolving payroll-related issues.
