Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large organisation on the Wirral who are recruiting for a Payroll, Compensations & Benefits Advisor to join their team. They offer an excellent working environment, work-from-home options, and fantastic benefits.

Key Duties/Tasks:
  • Support the busy payroll department with high volume starters and leavers
  • Utilize technical skills including Resourcelink System & Excel
  • Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
  • Manual processing requiring strong Excel skills
  • Processing compensations and benefits (approx. 25% of role)
  • Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries
  • Ensure timely payments, including benefits
  • Experience with Zellis/Resourcelink system is preferred
Desirable skills and attributes:
  • Minimum 2-3 years industry experience
  • Experience in benefits or compensations essential
  • Previous payroll experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork orientation
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills to handle queries
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • CIPP qualification is advantageous but not essential
