AIS are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our team in Skelmersdale on a full time and permanent contract.
What Will You Do As Our Payroll Assistant
- Collate and process timesheets into accounting software
- Input payable hours (uplifts and overtime) based on hours worked, and contract entitlements into Excel.
- Process data/prepare payroll in the payroll module.
- Support payroll manager as required with preparing/collating payroll information for the group's foreign subsidiary’s
- Support payroll manager as required with preparing payroll tax information/payments for the group.
- Support payroll manager as required with pension and auto enrolment administration.
- Support payroll manager as required with shadow payroll administration.
What Are We Looking For In Our Payroll Assistant
- Strong organisational skills
- This is a dynamic role with shifting priorities so we are looking for someone who can stay calm, organised and focused during busy periods
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly with Excel (small excel test may be required upon interview)
- Good numerical and analytical thinking
- Comfortable working without constant supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Have experience working in a payroll assistant or similar role, however full training will be provided
