AIS are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our team in Skelmersdale on a full time and permanent contract.

What Will You Do As Our Payroll Assistant
  • Collate and process timesheets into accounting software
  • Input payable hours (uplifts and overtime) based on hours worked, and contract entitlements into Excel.
  • Process data/prepare payroll in the payroll module.
  • Support payroll manager as required with preparing/collating payroll information for the group's foreign subsidiary’s
  • Support payroll manager as required with preparing payroll tax information/payments for the group.
  • Support payroll manager as required with pension and auto enrolment administration.
  • Support payroll manager as required with shadow payroll administration.
What Are We Looking For In Our Payroll Assistant
  • Strong organisational skills
  • This is a dynamic role with shifting priorities so we are looking for someone who can stay calm, organised and focused during busy periods
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly with Excel (small excel test may be required upon interview)
  • Good numerical and analytical thinking
  • Comfortable working without constant supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Have experience working in a payroll assistant or similar role, however full training will be provided
