Job summary

Radius Limited is seeking a Payroll Analyst to own payroll analysis across Fuel and Central Cost Finance in Crewe. You will reconcile payroll balances, implement efficient reporting, and partner with stakeholders on budgets and headcount decisions.

The role emphasizes developing the payroll function, mentoring a trainee, and driving continuous improvement within Group policies. AAT qualifications or progression are advantageous.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT is desirable.
• Experience in a finance related role is required.
• High proficiency in Excel and modelling is essential.
• Experience with preparing and transforming large data sets is beneficial.
• Ability to build accurate financial models and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll analysis processes across Fuel and Central Cost Finance for most colleagues.
• Control and reconcile payroll related balance sheet with best-practice processes.
• Redevelop and implement more efficient reporting methods.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build budgets and assess headcount and structure.
• Deliver a quality year end audit pack to auditors.
• Develop relationships with finance stakeholders and provide insights on salary cost drivers.
• Mentor a trainee management accountant to enhance performance.
• Promote continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
• Support senior finance management with ad hoc projects and budgeting.
